Stephen Cracknell, Chair  |  US Medical IT

Prior to starting US Medical IT in 2010 Stephen Cracknell worked 12 year at Microsoft and has extensive experience managing complex IT projects.  Stephen also has a broad array of IT skills ranging from security to databases to network architecture. In 2007 Bill Gates awarded Stephen Microsoft’s Innovation Award for his design of a Shelter Registration System used by the American Red Cross. Stephen, now CIO at US Medical IT, is well versed in the intricacies of the federal HIPAA security rule as well as telemedicine. US Medical IT is a Health IT firm based in the University of Texas at Dallas’s Venture Development Center that helps healthcare organizations across the country securely and effectively implement healthcare technology into their practice settings.

 

Gary Pfleiger, Vice-Chair  |  Wells Fargo Bank

Gary Pfleiger is Vice President of Specialty Markets with Wells Fargo Bank. He brings new customers to Wells Fargo with business loans, Lines of Credit and other products to improve working capital and business efficiencies. Gary served as the President and CEO for Prism Leadership Solutions and JohnMarch Partners Inc., executive retained search firms filling C-Suite positions.  He was previously, Director of a national recruitment firm managing a contract, with up to 1800 workers, where he was responsible for recruiting and project management in Texas, Colorado, and New Jersey.

 

Kenya Woodruff, Treasurer  |  Haynes & Boone, LLP

Kenya Woodruff is a partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP and is co-chair of the Healthcare Practice Group.  Her practice is dedicated to healthcare regulatory and related transactional and business matters.  Her counseling activities focus on the creation and maintenance of compliant healthcare operations and structures for hospital systems, physicians, home health and hospice providers.

 

Pat Driscoll, JD, MS, BSN  |  Texas Women’s University

Patricia Driscoll brings more than 35 years of health care experience in the Dallas area to her leadership, including work in her private health care legal practice and roles in a variety of clinical, executive, consultant and educational settings. She also currently serves as a professor for Texas Woman’s University’s Graduate Program in Health Care Administration. She was previously a vice president and chief operating officer for St. Paul Medical Center and served in other managerial roles at Parkland Health and Hospital System and RHD Memorial Medical Center, formerly Brookhaven Hospital.

 

Benjamin Isgur_Color

Benjamin Isgur is the director of thought leadership at PwC’s Health Research Institute where he leads HRI’s Regulatory Center.  In this role, he develops policy related thought leadership and research initiatives for the firm and clients.  He also consults with healthcare systems, trade associations, and policy groups on strategic planning, and industry intelligence and trends.

 

Mari Tietze, PhD, RN-BC, FHIMSS  |  Texas Woman’s University

Dr. Mari Tietze is Associate Professor in Nursing Informatics at Texas Woman’s University.  Her primary teaching area is research and quality improvement in nursing, introduction into clinical investigation in nursing, and telehealth and remote monitoring in post-acute care. Her research interests include the use of information technology to advance population health.

 

Hopper

Ken Hopper, MD, MBA | The Hopper Group

Dr. Hopper has led both provider and health plan organizations throughout his twenty-five year career. His current career thrust addresses two important silos-the two illogically separated worlds of behavioral health and physical health. Dr. Hopper through his leadership within Anthem Blue Cross and The Hopper Group is working with financing entities, small and large medical clinics, and patients to achieve improved total-health outcomes.
